Welcome! On today's blog I will introduce you some of my favorite social media accounts for your daily film dose. Since we spend most of our time on our phones, I thought on helping you enrich your film knowledge and kill some time while on quarantine through these interesting and cinematic networks.
- Thefilmagic
Instagram is always a good idea when talking about social media.
I spend most of my time on this app and my favorite film account is Thefilmagic. With more than 39.3 K followers, this account keeps a very good interaction with their followers. Besides providing small clips from movie scenes and information, film facts and funny content. They have constant polls, wallpaper pictures, Q&A’s, film quizzes, etc. On their highlighted stories. If you are just beginning in your film journey and want good and attractive content, I recommend this account.
-Screenplayed
My second favorite instagram account is Screenplayed.
This account shows the actual screenplay brought to life by the actors and directors. It's amazing to see how the movie portrayed based on the screenplay. It's also very entertaining to watch the actors interpret a scene. If you are interested in directing and acting this is perfect for you.
Youtube
- Now You See It
Finally for the youtube fans I recommend Now You See it channel. They upload videos analyzing films looking for unexpected meanings, explaining different aspects of movies, sound design, how the dialogue make a great impact in a film story, testing knowledge seen on films, etc. It's helps to analyze a movie with other eyes and perspective and things I wouldn't have think of.
¿Don't know what to watch?
This free app is perfect for you. Popflake provides movies divided by categories so you can chose the movie based on the mood you are in. Spoiler free, it provides a small synopsis of the movie/ tv shows and sources where you can watch it (Amazon Prime, Netflix, HBO, etc). Find the perfect movie, fast!
Ready for the weekend? Let me know what you think in the comments and check out our older blogs on film sources and websites to complement today’s accounts. Don’t forget to follow us on our socials! See you next week!
