I have always been interested in movies and tv shows. Since I was a child, I would spend my days watching movies and pretending I was part of them, and I’ve always liked how movies made me feel.
As I grew older, I wanted to learn more about this subject. At first, I was mainly interested in acting and focused only on my favorite actors. Later I realized that I was more into storytelling and film aspects. Movies have inspired me and made me feel connections to the character story and emotions. I would like to mention two of my favorite movies which helped me pursue my dream career (audiovisual communication). The first one is Interstellar by director Christopher Nolan and Fight Club by director David Fincher. I’m not sure how to explain the way these movies made me feel. They left me with so much excitement and engagement to the character's story that after watching them all I could think about was that someday I wanted to portray stories like that. To be able to unite score, scenes, performance, dialogues, color, etc. To make people feel what I felt after watching these.
I never really doubted what I wanted to do in the future, a film writer and director. I want
to be able to influence in someone’s point of view on life, help them see we (humans) share more than we think we do, for people to leave the cinema with whole new emotions, thoughts and perspectives.

I admire your dreams of influencing the perspectives of others, for I think movies allow us to see the world in ways we hadn't even thought of.
